Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (PSA)

Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (PSA)

Pressure Sensitive Adhesives (PSA) are dry adhesives used for bonding various materials together without the requirements of water or heat for activation.

Uses

PSA can be used to secure foam to plastic totes and other packaging containers. PSA allows customers to affix custom die cut parts to their packaging or manufactured parts when needed in their production process.

Benefits

PSA allows customers to affix custom die cut parts when needed in their production process more easily than alternative adhesives, such as glues. PSA also can be cleaner applications and a more uniform application than glues in an adhesive operation, which may have residues that go into cavities. Some PSA's may replace mechanical fasteners in a manufacturing process.
